School Involvement Program

Last year, Mill Creek Middle School in Dexter raised over $6,000 for Dance
Marathon!
Through the expanding School Involvement Program, DM works to give schools around Michigan the opportunity to raise funds for our cause. The most successful component is the Mini Marathon Program, which allows the schools to mimic the Marathon held in March at U of M on a smaller scale. Both of these programs allow middle and high school students to develop leadership, fundraising, and organizational skills while establishing a compassion for physically handicapped children and their families.

Excited about hosting their first Mini Marathon, Brighton High School raised over $1,000 to support our cause!
DMUM would like to give a special thanks to our 2011 mini-marathon hosts: Mill Creek Middle School in Dexter and Brighton High School in Brighton, Michigan. This program has provided an awesome opportunity for Dance Marathon to expand their community outreach efforts as well as an awareness of their cause.
