Swim Group

A specially trained martial arts instructor along with a Beaumont peds rehab physical therapist and volunteers work together to provide a martial arts experience along with physical therapy needs of the children in the group.

Group Notes

All groups are facilitated with professional staff with at least a bachelor's degree with a focus on pediatrics. The majority of staff has a masters or doctorate degree. The professional staff includes licensed physical therapists, speech therapists, occupational therapy and social work.

All groups are not just based on age but ability and diagnosis. Once a parent decides which group they are interested in a group for their child contact should be made to the department's social workers. The social worker and parent together will then determine which group and what level would be the best fit for your child. Groups are available year round with starting points in January, March, June and October.
